About a year and a half ago, hot honey completely took over the internet food scene. It was everywhere - drizzled, dunked, and slapped onto just about anything that would hold it. I remember it so clearly because this was right around the time we filmed and posted this burger.
It’s built on the simplest things done properly: a good-quality homemade mayo, crunchy fried chicken glazed in spicy honey, and thick-cut pickles bringing that sharp, vinegary bite. No overthinking, no unnecessary extras — just sweet, spicy, crunchy, and creamy in all the right places. Very simple, very effective, and very worth making.
