You know, this burger concept has been on my to do list for the better part of a year and in all honesty the reason I haven’t done it yet is because, both Tess and I have never been the biggest fans of chipotle. Every time we have come across it, whether it has been as a mayo, as a crisps flavour or even as a chicken glaze - it has always been overpoweringly smokey and not like a natural smokey flavour more of the artificial one you get from liquid smoke. So when it came to this burger, you could say, I didn’t have much hope I was going to love it. But oh how I was wrong!
The smokey flavour was not overpowering, the creamy slaw, sweet honey, rich bun and sharp pickle created a blend with the smokey flavour that harmonised it all together. It was the first time that I could happily say “I very much enjoyed the taste of chipotle”.
So for any of those friends out there have had the same feeling about the taste of chipotle as us, I think you have to try this one. And for those who love it already, let me know how it compares to all the other chipotle dishes you love.
Enjoy guys and have a great weekend x
